Making Full Proof Of Your Ministry
Dearly Beloved of God,
Today, I want to address the subject of MAKING FULL PROOF OF YOUR MINISTRY. You have a ministry from the Lord and you must make full proof of it. That ministry from the LORD does not have to be in the five-fold ministry, it may be HELPS MINISTRY. How much attention are you giving to your ministry?
Supposing as a person, God has assigned to your life five hundred thousand souls to come to the kingdom through your faithfulness as a Christian, what are you doing about those five hundred thousand souls? Every opportunity God gives you to talk to somebody about the Lord Jesus Christ is recorded in Heaven, and you will give account for that one day.
Suppose God has assigned you the sponsorship of the gospel across the globe and has blessed you with the financial capacity to do so. You notice that you make more money accidentally than some people do on purpose, but you think it is due to your smartness. It is not, it is a gift of God. It is the grace of God and it is the blessing of God. Have you asked the Lord what He wants to do with the finances He has given you? If you have, are you doing it? Are you faithful?
Peradventure you are the one that God has given the grace to pray; you can pray for twelve hours non-stop and fast for days to intercede for ministries and for souls to come into the kingdom. Are you doing it faithfully or is the devil giving you some other assignments to waste that time on?
Look at Luke 19: 12-13, 15 “He said therefore, a certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom and return. And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, occupy till I come. And it came to pass, that when he was returned, having received the kingdom, then he commanded these servants to be called unto him, to whom he had given the money that he might know how much every man had gained by trading.”
Can you see that? He called for a reckoning and each of them approached him. The first one said, “Lord, thy pound hath gained ten pounds”, and he said unto him, “thou good servant, because thou hast been faithful in a very little, have then authority over ten cities”. This man had full manifestation and fulfilment of his calling. The second one said, “Lord, thy pound hath gained five pounds”. That is partial fulfilment. The third servant said, “Lord, behold, here is thy pound, which I have kept laid up in a napkin”. This is not manifestation. This man did not bother. He had the gift, but he did not work to fulfil his ministry.
Therefore, these are three levels in which people operate concerning their ministry; NO PROOF, PARTIAL PROOF, AND FULL PROOF. Which one are you involved in? Paul told Timothy, “Make full proof of your ministry”. What differentiated these three servants was what each of them did with divine donation. You can decide to transfer your responsibility or not do anything about it, but you won’t be able to transfer your accountability on the day of reckoning.
It is my prayer that you will make full proof of your ministry and calling so that on that day, you will be able to tell the Master that you gave your best to it, and He will say to you, “Well done thou good and faithful servant, enter into the joy of your Lord” in Jesus’ name. Amen!
