Eyes That See The Divine

“Open my eyes, that I may see wondrous things from Your law.”

— Psalms 119:18

There’s something profoundly transformative that happens when we enter into the holy presence of the Most High God: our eyes are opened. This isn’t just about physical sight but spiritual vision—an awakening to the wonders of God’s Word and His divine plans for our lives.

Seeing the Wondrous Things of God

When God opens our eyes, we begin to see the wondrous things hidden in His law. His Word comes alive, and we start to understand the deeper truths and revelations embedded within it. This is not just an intellectual understanding, but a spiritual encounter that changes how we live and interact with the world.

Seeing Your Portion in the Kingdom

With eyes opened by the Spirit, we see our portion in the Kingdom of God. We understand our place, our inheritance, and the specific roles we are called to play. We no longer wander aimlessly; instead, we walk with purpose, knowing that God has a distinct and glorious portion reserved for us.

Seeing the Enemy’s Schemes

One of the most crucial aspects of spiritual vision is the ability to see where the devil is hiding. The enemy often operates in darkness, but with eyes that see, we expose his schemes and tactics. We’re able to stand firm in our faith, knowing that we are not ignorant of his devices (2 Corinthians 2:11).

Seeing Divine Connections

God sends people into our lives for His divine purposes. When our eyes are opened, we recognize these individuals as God-sent helpers, mentors, or partners in the journey of faith. These connections are pivotal in fulfilling God’s plans for us, and seeing them clearly ensures we don’t miss out on the blessings they bring.

Seeing Your Future and Destiny

The future can often seem uncertain, but with spiritual eyes, we see the destiny that God has prepared for us. We catch glimpses of the divine pattern He wants us to build upon the earth—whether it’s in our careers, ministries, families, or personal lives. We become builders aligned with Heaven’s blueprint.

The Holy Spirit: Revealer of Deep Things

As 1 Corinthians 2:9-11 tells us, the Holy Spirit is the revealer of the deep things of God. He searches all things, even the depths of God, and makes them known to us. This divine insight isn’t reserved for a select few; it’s available to all who seek the Lord with open hearts and a desire to see through His eyes.

Don’t Be Blind in Church

In the midst of our religious activities, it’s possible to be spiritually blind—to miss what God is showing us. But it doesn’t have to be this way. Let’s ask God to open our eyes, to remove the spiritual blindness, and to help us see the divine truths He is unveiling. When we see, truly see, it will be well with us in Jesus’ name.

Until next time, go and win with Jesus, knowing that your eyes have been opened to the divine.
